What is arts based supervision?
Arts Based Supervision encourages art making in the supervision session, to allow for greater awareness and support from the art process. It is not art therapy but like art therapy can offer a new lens through which to look at a supervision topics.
What happens in supervision?
Supervision is a confidential and supportive environment for a therapist to identify and seek support on their growing edges. These areas of focus could include: case consultation, inquiry about a particular client or situation, or support in general about your practice.
What is Marie's approach?
I approach the role of supervisor from a curious and encouraged place. I support the therapist I am working with by checking in with them regularly about our working relationship, about what is helpful or where they would like more guidance and support. My hope is that your leave our session with a renewed confidence in the amazing care you provide to the community.
